Frequently Asked Questions...

Q. How long do I have to complete your course?

A. You have six months from the date of purchase. This applies to the home study or Zoom class.

Q. Which course should I take, the Zoom class or home study?

A. If you are a strong independent learner, the home study course will work well for you. If you prefer a "classroom" environment, the Zoom class will be better. If you want to complete the course in two days, the Zoom class will most likely be your best option.

Q. What do I have to do after I pass the test?

A. You must complete the Licensing Process within two years of the date you pass the test.

Q. Can I bring the NASCLA book with me to the test?

A. Yes, this is an open book test. You can read about the test here.

Q. Can I write in the NASCLA book before the test?

A. Yes! You may write and highlight in your book before the test. You may NOT write or highlight in the book during your test.

Q. Does the CCB offer reciprocity with any other state for licensing?

A. No, but if you have passed the NASCLA Commercial General Contractor test, you are not required to complete the 16-hour training. Call the CCB at 503.378.4621 for more information.
